Key Responsibilities
Inthis role incumbents will coordinate with other health program professionalsto manage a program component within a larger significant health duties will be carried out across various community-based settings whereMedicaid waivered services are delivered including shared and family-basedresidential programs individual and group day support programs and supportedemployment environments.

Supervisoryduties may include training directing and monitoring staff particularlythose tasked with providing direct support or overseeing Home andCommunity-Based Services (HCBS) quality assurance care assessment and casemanagement. Ensuring adherence to all State and Federal rules policies andregulations is also a core requirement.

Additionallythis position is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive workingpartnerships with both providers and the community. This involves spendingsignificant time in the field at HCBS locations and collaborating closely withother organizational units (OUs) that handle regulatory and oversight functionsfor the Department.

Qualifications
Minimum or day-one qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and other related conditions.
  • Knowledge of HCBS Medicaid Waivers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DSPD provider contracts.
  • Experience with technical assistance and oversight of HCBS settings.
  • Knowledge of the Medicaid Settings Rule

Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:

  • QIDP qualified.
  • Ability to interact with individuals families and providers.
