Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM) Drywall Mixer plays a critical role in daily production operations by ensuring product consistency quality and efficiency throughout the mixing process. This hands-on position supports production goals while maintaining safety cleanliness and operational standards.

• Prepare the production line for daily operations
• Start the line on time at the beginning of each shift
• Serve as the immediate line supervisor
• Ensure proper dump setup and adherence to established procedures
• Mix product according to manager or foreman instructions

• Conduct lab testing to ensure material consistency
• Prepare tape tests and shrink rings for manager review
• Verify product packaging weights and quantities for each batch

• Report daily production output and quotas to management

• Ensure filters are cleaned regularly
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line and prepare for the next shift

• Maintain a clean and safe work and lab environment
• Clean up work areas at the end of each shift

• Perform other duties as assigned to support Manufacturing and corporate objectives

• Experience in manufacturing production or mixing operations preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail particularly in quality control and measurements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hands-on environment
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and operational protocols
• High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience preferred

• Base: $ - $ per hour
