SCOPE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Bakery Department Manager performs donut fryer and bakery functions in an efficient and timely manner.

BASIC FUNCTION:Perform duties necessary to ensure bakery products are made packaged and displayed per department wait on and work with customers.

Position Specific Requirements:

1. Previous experience working in a bakery.
2. Able to perform Bakery operations practices and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment.
3. Be self-directed results oriented project a positive business image and lead by example.
4. Good attention to detail and follow through skills.
5. Good customer relations skills.
6. Be able to meet department productivity policy standard operating procedures quality and safety requirements.
7. Works efficiently with weights measures scales and tally unit product retail prices
8. Do basic computer entries required for this position.
9. Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.)
10. Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules overtime and weekends required.
11. Work in physical environment with continuous exposure to cooler water and meet physical requirements.
12. Meet and maintain job productivity attendance punctuality safety requirements and wear safety attire.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED: Proficient skill in operation of standard department equipment which includes mixersscales fryers knives ovens proofers frosters glazers and sanitizing equipment.
