Job Summary
Sunrift is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to support the organization by maintaining accurate organized and accessible business records. This remote position will focus on document processing electronic filing record verification and maintaining consistent document-control procedures across administrative and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive organize process and maintain company documents and records.
- Enter and update document information in internal databases and tracking systems.
- Review documents for accuracy completeness and proper formatting.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems and ensure documents are easy to retrieve.
- Track document revisions updates approvals and status changes.
- Verify that records contain the required information before processing.
- Identify duplicate outdated or incomplete documents and coordinate corrections.
- Maintain spreadsheets logs and document-control registers.
- Assist with scanning indexing naming and categorizing electronic files.
- Retrieve documents and records for authorized employees when requested.
- Coordinate with administrative sales inventory and operations teams regarding documentation.
- Protect confidential customer and company information.
- Follow established document-retention and records-management procedures.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in document control records management data processing administrative support or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace spreadsheets and electronic document-management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple documents and priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with retail inventory or order-processing documentation is a plus.
