Job Description:
As the Dock Supervisor Engineering Operations you will provide leadership and direction for the Engineering Operations dock warehouse and prototype materials flow. This role oversees a blended team of salaried and UAW Material Service Technicians (MST) employees ensuring seamless operational performance across multiple production prototype and cross-functional workflows. You will drive strategic prioritization operational excellence continuous improvement and rigorous inventory/material control. This role requires strong decision-making problem-solving and communication skills to navigate rapidly changing priorities in a prototype environment.
Lead mentor and develop a team of 35 employees including Warehouse Planner(s) and Material Service Technicians (MST).
Oversee all Shipping/Receiving and Engineering Stores areas ensuring on-time and accurate material flow.
Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to set and adjust priorities based upon part availability.
Drive development and execution of Engineering Operations build plans and material readiness strategies.
Perform high-level root cause analysis implement corrective actions and develop sustained preventive solutions.
Supplement the Warehouse Planner (parts order requests inventory etc.)
Follow up on work-in-process and keep management informed of problems
Oversee inventory management activities including audits reconciliation efforts and accuracy improvement initiatives.
Propose and lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency reduce costs and process optimization.
Perform other leadership duties as assigned.
Inventory accuracy audit completion and reconciliation effectiveness
Timely delivery of hardware to support EO Assembly floor
Prompt resolution of issues/process deviations
Team performance development progress and adherence to standards
Is widely trusted by others to deliver on what they commit to in a timely manner

Associates degree in business engineering technology or related field or equivalent experience
Experience in manufacturing prototype testing logistics or warehouse operations
Strong communication and interpersonal leadership skills
Preferred:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
3 years of SAP transaction and supervisory experience
5 years of relevant work experience
Successful track record defining meaningful goals and achieving results through leadership
Proficient in oral and written business communications exposed to internal leadership and external organizations
Supervisory experience including coaching performance management and training
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office tools
Experience in manufacturing or logistics/warehousing environment
Experience working with or supervising Union represented employees
Experience with SAP
Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience
Responsible for leading a blended team of salaried and UAW employees in a high-impact prototype testing environment.
Operational responsibility for warehouse dock logistics and multiple cross-functional workflows.
Primary focus within Engineering Operations at ATI Speedway with significant interaction across engineering supply chain procurement and other functions.
Must be a U.S. Person or individual otherwise eligible to be authorized to work with export-controlled items or data or perform services on military vehicles.
