Dock Agent

SUMMARY OVERVIEW

TheDock Agentis the information epicenter of the organization. This position involves coordinating with driverswarehouserampand dock personnel todisseminateinformation that sometimes requires a heightened sense of urgency.âYou willbe responsible foradhering to strict and critical timelines and ensuring that all operations at the dock run smoothly and on schedule.âAdditionally youare required tomaintainaccuraterecords of all dock activities tracking inbound and outboundand providing necessary updates when mandated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to strict safety and security protocols during all operationsâ
• Maintainaccuraterecords of all cargo and baggage movementsâ
• Handle special cargo with care following specific handling proceduresâ
• Participate in emergency response and contingency planning at the dockâ
• Provide excellent customer service addressing inquiries and concerns promptlyâ
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth dock operationsâ
• Keep the dock area clean organized and free of hazardsâ
• Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on operational procedures and safety guidelinesâ
• ExemplifyPrimeFlightcustomer service and safety standards
• Perform anyadditionalduties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Communicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)
• Knowledge of the Aviation Industryâ

• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suiterequired in addition to successfulproficiencyinrequireddaily operational computer programs
• Communicate with internal and external customers
• Prolonged standing/walking in a warehouse setting
• Basic math skills
• Advanced recall ability
• Professional interactions in communication Chime Slack programs
• Ability to simultaneously coordinate with drivers warehouse stafframpandlogisticspartners via 2-way radio/phones/chats
• Ability to perform in a multi-functional office setting
• Communicate clear and concise information
• Able to write and send daily reports
• Able to work in heat andcold conditionsas it pertains to the warehouse

• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including theuseofelectronic devices includingIPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility toacquireneeded credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nightsweekendsand holidays
