STARTING SALARY: $1780.37 Bi-Weekly. Position will be hired at the minimum of the class. (In accordance with current spending restrictions an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employees current rate whichever is higher.)

DESCRIPTION:
This position will assist with contract management activities. The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Conduct on-going contract/grant management functions to oversee provider service performance and contract as a primary contact between the Department and the service provider/program.
Review all contract/grant monitoring reports to ensure service delivery according to contract terms and conditions.
Communicate effectively with providers and provide technical assistance maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship.
Develop and maintain a contact/grant file for each contract and contract file maintenance review.
Coordinate the activation and implementation of contracted programs (onboardings).
Work with providers to ensure required documentation is submitted with invoices and process invoices.
Create requisition (PO) in AOD (MFMP) and submit invoices for approval.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations solve problems document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports documents and other written materials.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following experience:
Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).
Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Program Monitoring and Management (PMM).
1 to 2 years of Contract Management/grant experience.
Knowledge and ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas.
SPECIAL NOTES:
All prospective candidates will be subject to a sex offender check criminal background checks (state local and national) and pre-employment drug screening for direct care positions.
This position requires travel for the purpose of overseeing provider performance and compliance.
DJJ participates in E-Verify (Employment Eligibility).

If initially hired with an out-of-state license the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state drivers license within 30 days of hire. Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason work permits (Business purpose/Employment/Education only licenses) and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
