Division 8 (DFH) Remote PMEstimator

A growing commercial Doors Frames & Hardware (Division 8) contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity.

This is a hybrid estimating and project management role for a well-rounded Division 8 professional who can evaluate project opportunities develop accurate estimates and effectively manage projects from award through completion.

The ideal candidate will have 48 years of commercial Division 8 experience strong technical knowledge of doors frames and hardware and hands-on Comsense experience.

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial Division 8 projects
• Review architectural drawings specifications and project documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop material and labor pricing
• Analyze project scope plans and specifications to identify requirements and potential issues
• Manage Division 8 projects from post-award through closeout
• Perform and/or coordinate detailing and submittals for doors frames and hardware
• Coordinate material ordering with manufacturers and suppliers
• Track project schedules deliverables costs and deadlines
• Communicate with customers general contractors vendors manufacturers and internal teams
• Manage multiple projects and estimating opportunities simultaneously
• Utilize Comsense for estimating project tracking documentation and project management
• Ensure projects are accurately estimated properly coordinated and executed on schedule
• Assist with change orders RFIs and other project-related documentation as needed

• Commercial Division 8 projects of varying size and complexity
• Combination of estimating and project management responsibilities
• Opportunity to work across projects from smaller commercial scopes through larger contracts
• Manage multiple active projects while supporting new estimating opportunities

• 48 years of commercial Division 8 experience
• Previous experience in a combination of estimating and project managing
• Strong knowledge of commercial doors frames and architectural hardware
• Hands-on Comsense experience required
• Experience reading architectural drawings and specifications
• Experience with takeoffs estimating detailing submittals and/or material procurement
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
• Self-directed and accountable in a fully remote work environment
