DISTRICT SALES MANAGER

Canada Dry a member of the Honickman Companies is a leading beverage distributor. Founded in 1970 we service the Maryland and Virginia area providing brands such as Sunkist A&W 7UP Snapple Sparkling Ice Essentia and Rock are seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) for our Salisbury MD office. As a DSM you will be responsible for planning organizing directing and controlling the activities of the sales function in order to maximize sales volumes and SUMMARY: Plans organizes directs and controls the activities of the sales function in order to maximize sales volumes and RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will in developing and implementing comprehensive business strategies and marketing and accountable for sales and revenue/margin plan a staff of sales and administrative personnel including hiring training and performance assistance to sales reps with customer relations strategies/ sales activity performance and training needs with sales sales coaching and training on the street and in sales -actively contacts assigned accounts to identify customer needs changing requirements or potential problems and resolve Company owned cold drink and display equipment in the trade and ensures compliance with exclusivity and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Companys available services product line and pricing structure promotional activity and sells additional services as appropriate to existing to service change requests or requirements by processing orders in a prompt professional and courteous judgment in resolving service billing or pricing problems not resolved by other and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds all required sales reports in a timely sales and industry training as other duties as EDUCATION CERTIFICATION: Equivalent of (1) Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or closely related field and minimum of 4 years of directly applicable experience as a sales representative and/or sales manager; OR (2) 7 years of directly applicable experience as a sales representative and/or sales maintain a valid Drivers in the beverage developing comprehensive strategies business and sales plans and years experience recruiting hiring leading and managing performance for an outside sales offer a competitive salary of $60000 - $75000/yearly with excellent benefits which include medical dental and vision.
