Were looking for a field-intensive highly accountable District Manager to lead a district of 1012 convenience store and fuel locations across the Greater Toledo area spanning Perrysburg Monroe Stanton and the I-475 loop. This is a hands-on high-ownership role inside a family-owned c-store operation that is aggressively scaling through acquisition and new builds with a growing foodservice program that sets it apart from your average fuel stop.

This is a family-owned convenience store and fuel operator with 85 locations across NW Ohio and SE Michigan on a clear runway to 150 stores by 2030 through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth. What makes this platform unique is its foodservice-led store concept currently operating 18 in-store kitchens across the network and growing. The leadership team is building the operational bench now to carry the organization through its next stage of growth.
What Youll Do
Lead a district of 1012 stores across the Greater Toledo market reporting directly to the VP of Operations
Recruit develop coach and retain Store Managers AGMs and hourly teams maintaining active development plans for every manager and growing high-potential talent toward their next seat
Own district P&L drive sales and EBITDA year-over-year manage labor productivity and hold the line on cash over/short shrink and store audit results
Execute the in-store foodservice program across kitchen-equipped locations coaching GMs on kitchen operations planogram compliance and promotional execution
Lead loss prevention efforts including daily cash reconciliation reviews exception reporting mid-shift audits lottery audits and inventory investigations pursuing corrective action and documentation as warranted
Conduct planned store visits using structured agendas and documented action items
Manage emergency alarm response and third-party surveillance alarm and equipment partnerships
Drive in-stock rates and merchandising execution across the district in partnership with vendor teams
What You Bring
3 years of multi-unit retail leadership c-store and fuel direct operations strongly preferred; QSR or high-discipline retail experience also translates well
PDI platform experience required at a subject-matter-expert level daily accounting sales-to-purchase days-of-supply and book vs. actual reconciliation
Demonstrated track record of building bench depth advancing AGMs and GMs into stronger seats and developing high-potential talent
Strong P&L acumen across the metrics that matter: cash over/short sales YoY EBITDA YoY shrink store audits and labor
Working knowledge of loss prevention labor management and vendor and merchandising execution
Comfort with kitchen-driven c-stores foodservice multi-unit experience is a direct advantage
Hands-on field-intensive operator responsive decisive and hardworking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
