Your Impact

The District Credit Manager position is responsible for execution of Lowes DIY and Pro Credit products across the assigned Districts in each region. The primary purpose of this role is to grow retail sales through Lowes Credit products while achieving performance targets for credit applications credit sales and credit this role the District Credit Manager will build and maintain relationships from front line store associates up to and including District Managers and the corresponding district teams and partners. Customer interaction is a critical component of this role.

What You Will Do

  • Work with district leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve credit performance targets and communicate results.
  • Models effective credit-selling behaviors and provides hands-on coaching and training to build associate confidence in offering Lowes Credit during every sales transaction.
  • Hosts weekly calls and participates in stores walks to ensure locations are prepared to execute promotional activities and new credit initiatives.
  • Collect and communicate credit market intelligence to support business decision making.
  • Analyze local and territory performance trends using company reporting and ad-hoc analyses to identify credit opportunities and emerging risks as well as recognize performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other district and regional field leaders and business partners within assigned territory resolving credit issues as necessary.
  • Partners with lending providers to assess business risk protect Lowes reputation customers and assets and support compliance with applicable laws regulations and company policies. Escalates manages and reports control issues with transparency.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business communications or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement if applicable
  • 7 Years experience in retail operations/ sales/ credit
  • 5 years combined experience in retail sales or credit in lieu of degree and experience requires in sales / credit
