Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop warehouse employees to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving inventory control order processing picking packing and shipping.
- Establish and monitor operational metrics to drive performance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA ISO company policies and all safety regulations.
- Develop and implement policies procedures and training programs that support operational excellence.
- Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting inventory controls and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership on facility layout product flow and warehouse optimization initiatives.
- Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers customer service sales scheduling and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
- Oversee disposition of damaged expired recalled and returned inventory.
- Serve as a project leader during warehouse management system implementations or upgrades.
Qualifications
Required
- Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse distribution logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication coaching and employee engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Oracle WMS or other warehouse management systems.
- Experience with Power BI advanced Excel or business analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in ISO 9001 environments.
