DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE II - FORKLIFT ROMEOVILLE IL
Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse forklift shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration markets.
This position is 50% Forklift and 50% Packing. Not a straight Forklift operator role.
LOCATION: Romeoville IL 60446
PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
HOURS: 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm M-F
2nd Shift 3:00pm 11:30pm M-F
DUTIES:
Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
Receive unpack and inspect incoming shipments.
Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
Pick pack and ship orders accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent work and education.
Valid forklift certification.
Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Basic computer skills.
ABILITIES:
Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
