Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:Graduation from high school and five years bus driving experience including two years of dispatching of Valid CA Class B commercial drivers license with passenger air brake and S endorsements Valid California Special Drivers Certificate and Valid medical of principles methods techniques and strategies for development of efficient school bus of California Motor Vehicle Code the Education Code and administrative rules and regulations applicable to the transportation of of State and Federal rules and regulations applicable to training of school bus of transportation software routing to operate a two-way radio and standard office to present information at bus driver in-service training and safety to perform and coordinate work involving independent judgment and requiring speed and accuracy as well as being able to maintain records and prepare to maintain confidentiality with staff and student information.
