Dispatcher

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is looking for a Dispatcher to join our logistics this role youll work closely with drivers customers scale operators and yard personnel to keep material moving safely and efficiently. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication organization and the ability to adjust quickly when priorities change.

What Youll Be Responsible For:

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers to meet customer and operational needs.

• Handling customer service calls and coordinate pickups and deliveries.

• Communicating daily with drivers scale operators and yard teams.

• Monitoring routes schedules and driver hours to ensure DOT compliance.

• Tracking incoming and outgoing loads and maintain accurate records.

• Providing drivers with job information site details and material instructions.

• Helping resolve scheduling issues service concerns and other day-to-day operational challenges.

Qualifications :

To Join Our Team:

• You have 2 years of dispatching experience in transportation logistics recycling waste or a related industry.
• You have knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• You have experience working with roll-off end dump or other heavy truck operations (preferred).
• You have strong communication skills and can effectively coordinate with drivers customers and operations teams.
• You are organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
