We are seeking a calm decisive Dispatcher to coordinate transit channels and manage commercial driver communication. You will handle route scheduling and resource deployment to optimize supply chain delivery networks.

Assign scheduled delivery orders to company and independent contract drivers.

Act as the primary point of contact for drivers on the road resolving transit hurdles.

Monitor traffic developments weather disruptions and load status using real-time software.

Log communication and delivery milestones accurately into routing software.

Manage emergent call-outs and schedule adjustments seamlessly.

Prior dispatching route planning or emergency communications center experience.

Proficiency using professional mapping GPS tracking and TMS logistics software.

Excellent active listening and crisis-communication capabilities.

Strong geographic comprehension of local and regional shipping lanes.

Ability to manage heavy multi-channel phone and radio traffic calmly.
