The Role
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Programs who will be a member of the FDAI Strategy & Planning team and will serve as a versatile and influential contributor to help define the strategic narrative align messaging across presentations and stakeholder reporting and lead communication and change management initiatives that communicate a compelling enterprise-wide story of business value and strategic impact.
You will develop a strong command of the domain and its influence on customer and business priorities enabling effective strategic planning portfolio management and performance reporting. You excel in a collaborative fastpaced environments.
You will translate complex technical capabilities into clear and compelling business value and will foster strong alignment across senior leaders business partners and associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the transformation of FDAIs strategic messaging from technical feature-focused to business value-focused ensuring clarity and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create impactful presentations and materials that convey complex data and AI concepts through accessible compelling stories to engage educate and inspire a range of audiences.
- Develop and deliver content to reinforce alignment clarify priorities and build trust across the enterprise.
- Partner closely with senior technology leaders and colleagues to articulate strategic priorities investments and outcomes.
- Facilitate cross-BU strategic forums to align stakeholders drive decisions and accelerate action.
- Strengthen FDAIs internal and external identity through consistent high-quality messaging rooted in measurable business value and aligned with the Fidelity Technology strategy and brand.
- Support technical forums and learning experiences to promote associate development capability uplift and community building across data and AI disciplines.
- Ensure all engagement moments deliver a cohesive high-impact experience that strengthens clarity of purpose and organizational connection.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of professional experience in financial services strategy consulting technology strategy and/or communications strategy
- Exceptional ability to translate technical and strategic concepts into compelling business narratives for executive presentations and business reporting.
- Strong capability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
- Strong organizational and program leadership skills with the ability to manage complex high-visibility initiatives.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly; commitment to continuous improvement and identifying creative innovative solutions.
- Strategic forward thinker who can generate solutions balance priorities and adapt well to change in direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create sophisticated visual stories and data visualization leveraging tools including the Microsoft Office suite Tableau and/or PowerBI.

The Team
The FDAI Strategy & Planning team maximizes enterprise value from data and AI technology by setting strategy managing FinOps orchestrating the portfolio enabling business operations and driving strategic programs to deliver business outcomes.
Data and AI are central to Fidelitys future. This role ensures the enterprise understands the power and potential of these capabilitiesand can clearly see the business value they create.
The base salary range for this position is $110000-$222000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
