REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:
Oversees the quality and compliance programs for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) programs.
Oversees and is accountable for the PACE Programs Quality and Compliance programs.
Ensures adherence to current regulatory requirements and provides oversight of Quality programs for PACE.
Ensures a continuum of compliance measures and education to employees (and volunteers) on the PACE teams enabling them to provide quality agency services in accordance with current federal state and local regulations.
Oversees the PACE QAPI initiatives to ensure that the development of PACE quality and compliance policies and procedures are current and meet federal state and local regulations.
Responsible for successful implementation of publicly-reported industry and/or regulators quality benchmark programs.
Leads the Enterprises PACE compliance program and the risk management activities which include compliance with Medicare and the State of Colorado Health Care Policy and Financing regulations as well as any other applicable federal state and local regulations.
Collaborates with Directors of Clinical Services and Business Development among others in preparation for during and in response to regulatory site visits and surveys. Supports all departments to ensure organizational preparedness for licensure and certification surveys.
Collaborates with the Care Synergy Directors of Education and Quality to measure effectiveness of professional development/education activities through identification and monitoring of quality indicators data collection analysis and evaluation of learning activities.
Provides direction support and collaboration to the PACE HIM team; ensures confidential clinical records meet regulatory standards for accuracy and completeness of documentation and supports the technical audit process.
WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare Nursing Business Administration Complementary Therapies or related field required with in-depth knowledge in area of specialty related to hospice palliative care and lieu of Bachelors degree relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years progressively responsible experience in leadership management and supervision in the health care industry. Experience in QAPI programs medical records and related functions preferred.
Required License: Colorado State Drivers license and proof of auto insurance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
