Raytheon - Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is seeking a Director Program Management to support a highly visible complex area within the Electro-Optical and InfraredSolutions(EOIRS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
This Program Area has products in all phases of the product lifecycle with primary focus on domestic customers including major primes across ground and airborne domains. You will be expected to set strategy vision and direction for a cross-functional team including multiple direct reports to ensure successful execution leading to the achievement of business will be expected to drive focus on overall product affordability product integrity on-time deliveries while ensuring a team culture of trust and respect.
This role is onsite in McKinney TX.
What You Will Do
- Lead a portfolio of programs consisting of multiple direct report program managers and a cross-functional organization responsible for day-to-day execution of all aspects of the portfolio
- Coordinate and align interactionsdependencies and transactions betweencustomersand other primes
- Accountable for Bookings Sales Profit and Cash
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) development and execution and program Estimate at Completions (EACs)
- Managerisk opportunity cost quality and schedule performance
- Develop and execute program area growth strategies and drive continued productivity improvements
- Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and key suppliers
- Champion development of program management talent and leadership capability within the organization
- Travel up to 40% to support domestic and international businessengagements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
- Execution experience leading production programs
- Experience managing cost schedule and technical performance for programs with use ofprogram managementtoolssuch as Earned Value Management System (EVMS) IntegratedMasterPlan (IMP) IntegratedMasterSchedule (IMS)Riskand OpportunityManagement Scope Board or similar business processes
- Experienceleadingcross-functionalteams to include but not limited to any combination of the following: Engineering Contracts Finance Procurement/Supply Chain Manufacturing/Operations QualityManagement LogisticsData Management(CDRLsupport) and/or administrative functions
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers customers government representatives primes and internal peers
- Program Management Level 3Certification required to be obtained after onboarding
- Program management experience across the product lifecycle (development transition to production production and/or sustainment programs)
- Experience working with U.S. Army and/or Prime contractors on government programs (complex) with direct customer interfaces both internal and external
- Experience developing and implementing execution coordination and growth strategies for franchise programs
- Oversight and monitoring of supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
- An activeand in-scope Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
