Senior Director Research & Development / Head of R&D Medical Devices

My client a global medical device company needs a Senior Director of R&D to lead its acute care platform. Youll own the pipeline for connected devices capital equipment software and AI/ML clinical decision support from concept through commercialization.

• $240K to $260k plus bonus and LTI
• Full relocation available to non-local candidates.

What youll be doing

• Define the platform R&D strategy and build business cases for new technologies
• Lead programs end to end across hardware software systems engineering and informatics
• Oversee design reviews risk management V&V strategy and transfer to manufacturing
• Manage departmental budgets resource plans and capital investments
• Lead NPD and Sustaining Engineering.

About you

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related area.
• Youve commercialized Class I II or III devices from concept through launch
• Youve led development spanning systems engineering software hardware and capital equipment
• Youve built and led global cross-functional teams in a heavily matrixed environment.
