Location: La Vista / Omaha NE On-siteJoin our team in the growing Omaha metro area! This is an on-site leadership opportunity offering direct collaboration with project teams clients and company leadership. Note: Candidates must have 8 years of commercial construction preconstruction or estimating experience including experience leading preconstruction activities developing project budgets and coordinating estimating efforts. Job Description

• Lead preconstruction strategy and planning for commercial construction projects from initial concept through groundbreaking.
• Oversee conceptual estimates cost models project budgets and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals.
• Manage mentor and develop preconstruction managers and estimators.
• Partner with clients architects engineers and project teams to deliver innovative cost-effective solutions.
• Drive competitive bidding strategies improve estimating processes and help increase project win rates.
• Evaluate project risks market conditions and opportunities to improve pricing accuracy and profitability.
• Lead client presentations and build relationships that create long-term business opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support growth operational excellence and market expansion.

Qualifications

• 8 years of commercial construction preconstruction or estimating experience.
• Experience managing complex commercial construction budgets proposals and estimating activities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring preconstruction or estimating professionals.
• Strong understanding of conceptual estimating cost planning bidding and construction delivery methods.
• Excellent communication negotiation and client presentation skills.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software and project management tools.
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related field preferred; equivalent experience welcomed.
• Experience with GMP CMAR ground-up construction or renovation projects is a plus.
