Director of Operations

An established healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and highly capable Director of Operations to oversee two facilities located in Monsey and Pomona NY.

This individual will take ownership of daily operations across both locations ensuring exceptional patient experiences efficient processes strong employee performance and consistently high standards of service.

The ideal candidate is more than an operations manager. The company is looking for a recognized trusted leader who can become the face of the organization build meaningful relationships within the local community and establish a reputation for outstanding service and leadership.

This position requires someone with excellent intuition sound judgment strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead confidently while remaining approachable and attentive to patients families and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across both the Monsey and Pomona healthcare facilities.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to management teams and employees at both locations.
• Ensure smooth efficient operations while maintaining excellent patient and customer service.
• Serve as a visible approachable representative of the organization within the community.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients families community members and healthcare professionals.
• Establish and maintain high standards of service professionalism and operational performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical effective solutions.
• Develop and strengthen management teams employee accountability and overall performance.
• Handle escalated patient concerns and ensure issues are resolved professionally and efficiently.
• Improve internal processes communication and coordination between both locations.
• Support business growth by strengthening the organizations reputation and community relationships.
• Work closely with ownership and senior leadership on operational priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure both facilities operate consistently and maintain a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership and operational management experience in healthcare required.
• Experience managing patient-facing healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
• Article 28 healthcare facility experience is a major advantage.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple locations departments or operational teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a strong understanding of patient satisfaction.
• Excellent leadership communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong familiarity with the needs and expectations of the local Monsey and Pomona communities.
• Ability to establish trust credibility and positive relationships within the community.
• Highly intuitive proactive and capable of making sound independent decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Confident personable and capable of representing the organization at a senior leadership level.
• Experience improving operational efficiency employee performance and service quality.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic oversight and daily operational needs.

Location: Monsey & Pomona NY

Type: Full-time overseeing two healthcare facilities

Salary: $200000$225000 with potential for higher compensation based on relevant healthcare facility experience
