What You Will Do:
- Provide enterprise leadership consultation and guidance on nursing operations practice standards medication administration storage documentation and clinical safety expectations across BHN programs
- Serve as a central resource for nurse and non-nurse program leaders on nursing workflows medication management processes regulatory expectations and safe practice standards
- Oversee enterprise expectations for safe medication administration storage disposal documentation controlled substance tracking and MAR review across MAP-registered and non-MAP programs
- Support program readiness for licensing visits DMH/MAP audits DPH/BSAS reviews accreditation surveys and other regulatory or payer reviews
- Provide supervision and direction to MAP Trainers and the MAP Compliance Coordinator overseeing BHNs MAP program infrastructure and standardized compliance monitoring framework
- Ensure routine risk-based and unannounced medication management audits are planned tracked completed and followed up in accordance with established schedules
- Review MAP compliance data audit findings corrective action completion and repeat findings to support enterprise reporting and quality improvement
- Support nursing education competency development and training initiatives related to medication administration medication safety and nursing practice needs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to provide nursing subject matter expertise for role design candidate screening and workforce planning
- Collaborate with the Director of Population Health and Organizational Quality and the Director of Clinical Compliance to align nursing monitoring with quality initiatives risk management and incident trend review
- Support the Incidents Complaints and Investigations (ICI) process by providing nursing subject matter expertise record review and corrective action input
- Maintain appropriate independence and objectivity in monitoring functions while building collaborative relationships with program leaders and staff
Who You Are:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration Public Health Quality Compliance or a related field preferred
- Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts required
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience in behavioral health substance use treatment community-based services residential services healthcare or human services required
- Minimum of five years of supervisory management quality compliance education or enterprise consultation experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration storage documentation safety controlled substance procedures and regulatory expectations required
- Knowledge of MAP requirements DMH expectations DPH/BSAS requirements accreditation standards and corrective action monitoring strongly preferred
- Strong organizational analytical verbal and written communication facilitation consultation and presentation skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Teams SharePoint spreadsheets reporting tools and electronic documentation systems required
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required for travel to BHN program locations as needed
