Director of Manufacturing Operations

Client needs someone to own and manage the companys manufacturing operations and make sure products are built efficiently on time at the right quality and cost.

What you will do:

• Manage Manufacturing Manufacturing Engineering Supply Chain and Quality teams.
• Make sure production can meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
• Improve production speed quality costs inventory and on-time delivery.
• Manage suppliers and improve the supply chain.
• Work with engineering to make new products easier and more efficient to manufacture.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality standards. ISO/IEC 17025 experience is a plus.
• Track operational KPIs budgets and manufacturing costs.
• Help implement a new ERP system and improve manufacturing processes.
• Hire develop and lead strong teams.
• Work closely with both executive leadership and the production floor.

What they are looking for:

• 10 years of manufacturing operations experience.
• 5 years in a senior leadership/management role.
• Experience with low-volume high-mix manufacturing of complex products.
• Experience with products such as:
  • Scientific/analytical instruments
  • Optics/photonics
  • Medical devices
  • Test & measurement equipment
  • Complex electro-mechanical products
• Strong experience in manufacturing supply chain quality and manufacturing engineering.
• ISO 9001 experience is required.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement and ERP systems.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field.
• Must be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working with both executives and production teams.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 years of work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• 5 years of Appliances Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing experience
• 10 years of experience in Manufacturing
• 10 years of work experience with Manufacturing Operations Management
• 1 years of work experience with ISO 9001
