Director of Engineering

Director of EngineeringOmni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Director of Engineering to join our outstanding maintenance and repair team and to lead the hotel through a major exciting reimagining of the property - guest rooms public space and restaurants/bars! This vital role will work closely with the General Manager and Engineering Leaders to oversee all operations relating to the Engineering department resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction and associate development. This highly motivated individual will ensure proper training and supervision of all Engineering personneland to provide consistent cost-effective maintenance programs that ensure theHotels safe and efficient are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have Director of Engineering experience in a hotel environment we would love to speak with you about this range for this position (based on experience): $130000 - $150000/year. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or associate benefits offered include free meals in Associate Café golf privileges discounts at the spa and restaurants discounted rates at other Omni properties corporate discounts continued education opportunities and :Coordinate and operate in an economical legal and safe manner all Heating Lighting Power and Repair & Maintenance for the physical plant and equipment and shall supervise maintenance and preventative maintenance program of that with other departments all work necessary to maintain general conditions safety and health standards set forth by hotel policy and legal hire counsel train and discipline engineering associates in coordination with the Director of Human supervises Engineering associates in operation and control of utilities to provide efficient operation of hotel services and comfort to to management possible projects for future capital budgets. Obtain bids supervise and coordinate contractors in performance of project own and hotels special permits and licenses as required by local schedules staffing and payroll of Engineering associates. Compile personnel records logs utilities and keep Engineering physical plant and equipment and shall supervise maintenance and preventative maintenance program of that the hotel through major renovations that will create an updated and beautiful place for our guests to create memorable :Must have extensive facilities maintenance HVAC and mechanical hotel engineering experience and proven leadership experience oral and written communication be willing to work weekends and at any other times as to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel/ managing a crew of 10 or to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistanceAbility to stand sit bend lift for extended periods of position will be open and posted until filled with a minimum posting period of three days.
