Director of Education Preschool

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Education to partner with the Director of Operations and leadership team at our premier early learning school in Reading MA.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for an early childhood educator passionate about curriculum teacher development and meaningful learning. The Director of Education will lead and strengthen the schools educational program ensuring curriculum is thoughtfully planned developmentally appropriate consistently implemented and continually enhanced.

A key focus will be building on our strong existing practices and taking them to the next level. Working closely with teachers the Director will support lesson planning classroom practices assessment learning environments and family communication through ongoing coaching and professional development.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative supportive leader who enjoys working alongside teachers identifies opportunities for growth and translates early childhood best practices into engaging classroom experiences. This role will help foster a culture of learning collaboration and continuous improvement.

In partnership with the Director of Operations and leadership team the Director of Education will also support daily school operations including staffing and scheduling staff supervision and maintaining appropriate classroom coverage and ratios.

Full-time year-round MondayFriday Shared opening/closing shifts

QUALIFICATIONS
Education (Required): Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field.
ECE Leadership Experience (Required): Minimum 2-5 years as a Director in a licensed Childcare Center with 100 students and 35 teachers.
Certification (Required): MA Director II Certification.
