Job Summary

Position SummaryThe Director Medical Services Administration provides administrative financial and strategic leadership to medical group practice and Medical Services operations. The position is responsible for developing and managing service lines recruiting contracting and credentialing all providers and managing multiple programs such as medical education provider performance evaluations and internal Job ResponsibilitiesWorks collaboratively with medical and operations leadership to ensure alignment with the organizations mission. Leads assigned service lines and the development of business plans for the attainment of organizational goals related to partnership and affiliation and practice management. Directs all aspects of the provider recruitment process which includes but is not limited to outreach interviewing scheduling tracking and reporting. Manages contractual relationships with physicians advanced practice clinicians and other provider categories. Ensures the accuracy and compliance of the provider compensation program. Reassesses the program on a regular basis. Works collaboratively with human resources to issue manage and update provider contracts. Develops effective working relationships with providers; visits health centers as needed to maintain a visible support presence for providers. Manages Credentialing Department and Medical Services Department functions budget and staff. Manages medical education affiliations and operations provider performance evaluations and Medical Services auditing programs and Medical Services events. Supports the provider on-boarding process and peer review process. Works collaboratively with multiple departments and medical staff to continuously improve programs processes and organizational initiatives. Manages direct reports communicating expectations providing coaching and feedback monitoring and managing performance and providing development opportunities. Other duties as Degree required (healthcare or business management) Masters preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of healthcare experience is required; ten (10) years preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of management experience is required. Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Products required especially Excel and PowerPoint.
