Chartwells Higher Education is looking for a dynamic and passionate Foodservice Director of Dining to lead the daily operations of a high-volume residential dining hall atBaylor University. This is more than a job its an opportunity to shape campus culture mentor a talented team and deliver an exceptional dining experience to the Baylor student community.
What Youll Do:
As the Foodservice Director youll be at the heart of our food programs success. Youll lead day-to-day operations while ensuring that every meal served reflects our commitment to quality service and innovation.
- Direct all aspects of daily food service operations with excellence
- Lead and inspire a team of managers supervisors and frontline staff
- Deliver exceptional food quality and customer service experiences
- Partner with culinary teams to craft nutritious on-trend menus
- Monitor and manage labor and food costs to ensure financial success
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards
- Bring new culinary programs to life with support from Chartwells marketing and innovation teams
- Recruit train and develop team members fostering a culture of growth
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
