As the Director Development Major Gifts you will play a pivotal high-profile role in shaping this next era of growth by leading a high-performing team to secure transformational philanthropic support. Reporting to the Senior Director Integrated Philanthropy you will oversee key fundraising programs and bring a university-wide perspective to champion major gift strategies ($100000 to $5M). In addition to inspiring coaching and managing a team of fundraisers you will personally manage a portfolio of high-value prospects serving as a trusted strategic advisor to Deans and senior leadership across the University.
We are seeking an accomplished visionary fundraising leader with a proven track record of securing major gifts within large complex environments. You bring exceptional relationship management and consulting skills alongside the strategic capability required to identify high-impact funding opportunities as well as helping to design and execute key initiatives for Monashs next comprehensive campaign. You excel at leading coaching and empowering high-performing teams with a genuine passion for developing emerging talent and building a collaborative high-trust culture.
