Position Overview

What Youll Do:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the Companys business objectives and drives competitive advantage.

• Lead the design development and implementation of scalable data architectures and business intelligence solutions.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key business opportunities and challenges that can be addressed through data and analytics.

• Oversee the design and maintenance of the enterprise data architecture ensuring data integrity security and accessibility.

• Implement best practices for data modeling data integration and data governance.

• Ensure the scalability and performance of data systems to support growing business needs.

• Lead the development and deployment of business intelligence tools and platforms enabling self-service analytics and reporting.

• Drive the creation of dashboards reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.

• Promote a data-driven culture by educating and empowering business users to leverage BI tools effectively.

• Build and lead a high-performing team of data architects data engineers business intelligence analysts and managers.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment encouraging continuous learning and professional development.

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address data privacy and security concerns.

• Monitor and mitigate data-related risks ensuring the protection of sensitive information.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT finance marketing and operations to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on data-related matters.

• Provide training support and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.

• Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and identify opportunities for professional development.

What Youll Bring to Zelis:

• Typically has Bach. 15 yrs.; Masters 10 yrs.; Demonstrated accomplishment internally and externally; Has followership in subject matter area; Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional societies.

• Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.

• Strong financial and operational management skills.

• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and influence executive stakeholders.

• Experience with organizational design and change management.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data architectures and BI solutions.

• Strong knowledge of data warehousing ETL processes data modeling and data governance.

• Proficiency in BI tools and platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) and data management technologies (e.g. SQL Hadoop Spark).

• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think strategically and drive data initiatives that align with business goals.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

Zelis is headquartered in the U.S. with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership -office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

While location expectations vary by role candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.

Base Salary Range

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors including experience education qualifications as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package which may also include discretionary bonus plans commissions or other incentives depending on the role.
