Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Director of Nutritional Servicesto join our Nutritional Services Department in Ash Grove Missouri someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like: Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is an 82-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility. Services include a 20-bed memory care unit to meet the needs of individuals with dementia including Alzheimers disease.

As a Directoryou will be:

• Purchasing food and non-food supplies ensuring vendor relationships are maintained and professional

• Instructing staff in the process of batch cooking and decreases production at the end of peak mealtimes to avoid overproduction using leftovers in an acceptable manner

• Maintaining recipes in a simple manner and oversees production of food in order to guarantee preparation of foods according to established recipes

• Communicating selected menu with the leadership team for all banquets special events and catered foods guaranteeing the availability and proper cooking of foods

• Meeting all thresholds for regulatory agencies enforcing regulatory standards for proper storage and handling food

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: At least one-year institutional food service management

Skills: Communication

Licensure/Certification: Certified Dietary Managers License or equivalentFamily and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%
