Job Summary
Senior full stack engineer/Architect of dining solutions
10 years experience building scalable SaaS products
3 years building dining software/POS. Strong preference if from senior living or hospitality industry.
3 years leading engineering teams
Tech stack- MySQL PHP Laravel Angular Javascript. Plus if experience in AWS.

1. POS Architecture Experience (Mandatory)
Must have built or been a senior contributor to:
Restaurant POS
Hospitality POS
Retail POS
Payment processing systems
Experience with companies such as:
Toast
Square
Lightspeed
Clover
NCR
2. Payments Expertise
Need experience with:
Credit card processing
EMV terminals
PCI compliance
Tokenization
Refunds
Chargebacks
Stored payment methods
Subscription billing
3. Offline-First Architecture
Dining rooms lose WiFi.
Must understand:
Offline order capture
Sync conflict resolution
Local databases
Device failover
4. Hardware Integration
Must have experience integrating:
Receipt printers
Kitchen printers
Cash drawers
Card readers
Tablets
Handheld ordering devices
5. Hospitality Operations Knowledge
This is arguably more important than coding.
Need to understand:
Meal plans
Resident accounts
Guest dining
Split checks
House accounts
Dietary restrictions
Table service
Quick service
Kitchen display systems
Inventory
