Digital Press Operator Canon ProStream (Roll-Fed) 2nd Shift (4606)

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

As a key member of the digital department this position will set up and operate our Digital roll-to-roll press.
Produce high quality product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner with attentiveness to customer specifications delivery requirements and production targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

• Setup operate and troubleshoot Digital Roll-to-Roll Press.
• Perform color matching of supplied materials.
• Interpret document and communicate diagnostic feedback from the equipment and act upon information to resolve production or maintenance issues.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets.
• Complete the necessary paperwork required for each job.
• Communicate effectively with prepress press operators customer service and management.
• Maintains all necessary equipment and performsmonthly inventory on departmental items

• Willingness and ability to work 2nd Shift hours (3PMto 11 PM CST)
• A mechanical aptitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a high school diploma. Previous experience in print industry preferred but willing to train.

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY:

• Ability to use a computerized system to record operations.
• Ability to operate and trouble-shoot digital press machines.
