H2M architects engineers a multidiscipline architectural engineering and environmental consulting firm based in NY NJ CT and FL is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to join our Corporate Communications team in Melville NY. This position reports to the Marketing Manager - Communications and will work closely with the entire Marketing Team. Were looking for a creative digitally savvy professional to lead our social media presence and digital content across our website and platforms. Youll be the point person for all things social and digital developing campaigns managing content coordinating website updates and ensuring our online presence is fresh engaging and aligned with our brand. Youll work closely with our Communications Specialists Multimedia team SEO consultant and Director of Marketing to keep our digital footprint dynamic and purposeful. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on owning their space brings new ideas to the table and makes things ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & PlanningDevelop digital content strategies aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications ManagerDevelop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with business priorities firm initiatives and market activityResearch industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our content stays relevant timely and competitiveStay current on digital media trends platform updates and best practices to keep our content strategy fresh and competitiveBring forward creative ideas for improving website engagement digital storytelling and social media performanceSocial Media Management & EngagementUnder the direction of the Communications Manager own and manage our social media presence across all platforms using Hootsuite Develop creative campaigns identify trends and bring forward proactive ideas that elevate our brandMonitor and respond to audience engagement across social media platforms in a timely and professional mannerCollaborate with Communications Specialists to source content stories and project highlights for social media and digital platforms Attend firm events such as groundbreakings ribbon cuttings and other milestones to capture photo and video content for social media and digital platforms coordinating with the Multimedia team for Creation & CopywritingWrite and edit compelling digital content including social media posts website pages project case studies service descriptions and other online resourcesTransform technical information into accessible engaging content for our target audiences including clients potential clients partners and agenciesCreate publish and manage engaging content across social media the website and other digital platforms ensuring consistency in brand voice style and toneSupport creation of multimedia content including text imagery and video assets for digital platformsCoordinate with the Multimedia team on implementation of content changes in WordPress and ensure updates go live accurately and on timeWebsite Content Management & GovernanceServe as the point person for coordinating website content updates across our 500 page siteSchedule prioritize and track updates in collaboration with the Director of Marketing Communications Specialists and Multimedia all website content before and after updates go liveConduct regular reviews of website content to identify outdated or underperforming pages and coordinate updates accordinglyDigital Performance & Optimization Work with our SEO consultant to ensure all digital content incorporates keyword strategy and SEO best practices to maximize reach and search visibilityMonitor and analyze web traffic social media metrics and content performance identifying best practices and providing recommendations for improvementEducation and QualificationsBachelors degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media Journalism or related field57 years of experience in social media management digital content or a related roleProven experience managing social media platforms professionally across multiple channelsExperience with social media management tools (Hootsuite experience strongly preferred)Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiencesAbility to translate technical or complex information into clear accessible and engaging contentSolid understanding of SEO principles and how to incorporate keywords naturally into digital contentHighly organized with strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySelf-starter who takes initiative brings ideas forward and doesnt wait to be told what to doMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and qualityCollaborative team player who works well across departments and with diverse stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience in professional services A/E/C industry or B2B environmentFamiliarity with WordPress or similar content management systemsExperience developing social media campaigns from concept to executionKnowledge of social media analytics and performance reportingGraphic design skills or familiarity with Canva or similar toolsExperience with web analytics tools such as Google AnalyticsThe compensation range for this role is $24-65/hrThe employment offer may deviate from this publishedrangebased on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristicsprotected by local state or federal : The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensationor benefits.
