Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Digital Content Author to support the Marketing Technology team for a premier hospitality and entertainment organization in Las Vegas. This role will focus on creating publishing and maintaining customer-facing digital experiences using the Contentful Content Management System (CMS). Working closely with Marketing UX Design and Development teams this individual will build and update website pages manage content requests participate in an Agile workflow and help maintain the teams content backlog. The ideal candidate combines strong content management skills with exceptional attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Authoring & Publishing

• Build edit and publish customer-facing web pages using Contentful CMS
• Author and maintain digital content for promotions entertainment dining hotel and other marketing initiatives
• Format content update links configure page components and maintain page layouts within Contentful

Backlog & Workflow Management

• Create and manage work items tickets and content requests within the teams project management system
• Maintain and prioritize assigned content backlog while ensuring timely delivery of updates
• Collaborate with Marketing Product UX Design and Development teams to support website enhancements and redesign initiatives

Image & Quality Management

• Resize optimize and prepare images for digital publication
• Perform quality assurance testing to ensure content accuracy functionality and brand consistency

Redesign & Process Support

• Support website redesign efforts by migrating and updating existing content into new page structures
• Follow established content governance publishing standards SEO best practices and accessibility guidelines
• Assist with documentation and continuous improvement of content publishing processes

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience managing website content within a Content Management System
• Experience with Contentful or another enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sitecore Drupal WordPress or Optimizely
• Experience building and publishing web pages within a CMS
• Comfortable working within an Agile environment using tickets backlogs and sprint-based workflows
• Experience resizing and optimizing images for the web
• Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and quality assurance skills
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website content best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS
• Experience supporting website redesign or migration projects
• Experience working with Jira Azure DevOps or another Agile work management platform
• Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing experience
• Hospitality gaming travel retail or eCommerce industry experience
• Familiarity with Google Analytics
• Understanding of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards
