We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Digital Advisor I to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives within Edison Safety. This role will contribute to critical safety programs risk management processes quality assurance efforts and operational improvement initiatives supporting utility operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination capabilities experience analyzing complex datasets and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while supporting safety-focused operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the companys Safety Management System (SMS)
Assist with SMS Risk Management Management of Change (MoC) Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) and Human Organizational Performance (HOP) initiatives
Analyze and interpret data using tools such as Excel Power BI and Enablon
Track manage and present complex operational and safety-related information
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of safety initiatives and deliverables
Support process improvement efforts by identifying risks recommending mitigation strategies and implementing operational enhancements
Escalate issues and concerns appropriately to management when necessary
Assist in preparing reports presentations and supporting documentation for leadership review
Contribute to maintaining compliance with internal safety standards and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree in Business Technical Discipline Accounting Finance Operations or related field preferred
5 7 years of relevant professional experience supporting operational technical safety compliance or project-based environments
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and charts
Experience creating presentations and reports using PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
Experience within electric utility or energy industry environments
Experience presenting information to senior leadership and executives
Familiarity with risk management QA/QC and operational improvement processes
Experience with Power BI and enterprise applications such as Enablon
