Position: Dietary Aide

Schedule: Part-Time / On-Call

Availability Required: 7 Days a Week (AM & PM Shifts)

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. This part-time on-call position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by supporting meal service operations and maintaining a clean safe dining environment.

• Assist with meal preparation and tray set-up for residents.
• Deliver and serve meals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collect and properly clean returned meal trays and dishes.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain proper sanitation standards.
• Monitor and record dishwasher water temperatures and sanitizer/chlorine levels.
• Prepare snacks nourishments and beverages as directed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep mop and maintain kitchen and dietary service areas.
• Store groceries and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean sanitary work environment.
• Follow all food safety infection control and dietary department procedures.
• Support cooks and dietary supervisors as needed.
• Work collaboratively with residents families and staff across all departments.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certificate required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to follow recipes written instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous healthcare dietary food service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend stoop reach and perform routine kitchen duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
