Job Summary
Summary:
Philpott Ford is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our service team.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in heavy engine repair and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair GM diesel engines fuel systems and emissions components.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on transmissions drivetrains and differentials.
- Work on electrical and electronic systems including sensors modules and wiring.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests using GM-specific tools and software.
- Perform brake suspension and steering system repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty procedures.
- Complete detailed repair orders documenting work performed and parts used.
- Assist with recalls bulletins and software updates for GM diesel vehicles.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience as a Diesel Technician with a strong understanding of diesel engines.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
- Knowledge of automotive systems components and repair procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks MVR drug test and valid driver license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications
