At RWC Group were looking for skilled Mid-Level Diesel Technicians who are ready to expand their diagnostic abilities perform increasingly complex repairs and continue developing into top-performing diesel professionals. Youll work on industry-leading commercial trucks and buses alongside experienced technicians while receiving ongoing OEM training and career development.
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who are ready to move beyond preventative maintenance and routine repairs and take the next step toward becoming a Journeyman Technician.
What Youll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines brakes suspension steering electrical HVAC fuel and drivetrain systems.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic software and electronic service information.
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
- Perform operational checks and road tests when authorized.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate findings with Service Advisors and customers.
- Assist Apprentice Technicians while continuing to develop your own technical expertise.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment.
Were Looking For Someone Who
- Has 25 years of diesel heavy truck automotive or heavy equipment repair experience.
- Can independently perform preventative maintenance and most routine repairs.
- Has strong mechanical aptitude and developing diagnostic skills.
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Has a valid drivers license (CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain).
- ASE certifications and OEM training are a plusbut were committed to helping you continue your professional development.
