Diesel Mechanic

As a Diesel Mechanic youll play a vital role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes filter replacements inspections and scheduled services.
  
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and engine performance issues using advanced diagnostic software and tools.
  
• Repair and replace components such as engines fuel systems brakes suspension steering and electrical systems.
  
• Perform DOT inspections and comprehensive vehicle safety inspections.
  
• Test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
  
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
  
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area.
  
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.
  

• 35 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks.
  
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and software.
  
• Solid knowledge of diesel engines electrical systems brakes suspension and drive-train components.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong communication organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Valid drivers license required (CDL is an asset but not required).
  

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour depending on experience skills and certifications.
