Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating power presses troubleshooting tooling and production issues and maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires the ability to work independently perform complete die setups and run production efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate progressive compound and secondary stamping dies.
- Perform die changeovers and production setups according to work orders.
- Troubleshoot press die and production issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment checks.
- Work closely with tooling and production personnel to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Count inspect and verify production parts.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
- Experience with Bliss and Niagara stamping presses preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use calipers micrometers height gauges and other inspection equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturing specifications.
- Good math communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Shift & Pay
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (possibility of OT but not guaranteed)
Pay: $30-$45 an hour based on experience
