About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager the DI Technical Assistant works under the direction of the Team Lead performing tasks related to the departmental operation in an organized and cost-effective manner. This position supports the activities of the Diagnostic Imaging Department by performing peripheral tasks including but not limited to assisting patients patient transfers and computer radiographic information data entry. This position also supports the activities of the Diagnostic Imaging Department by performing non-patient care functions.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • One year knowledge of computer systems regarding entering updating and retrieving patient information
  • Able to set priorities
  • Medical Terminology Course an asset (former GASHA)
  • Experience in Diagnostic Imaging an asset
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset French preferred

Hours
  • Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
  • Evenings and every other weekend. Some day shifts may be required
Compensation and Benefits

$23.07 - $26.44 hourly
