Peraton is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in our Linthicum MD office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented highly motivated and high-performing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cyber investigations digital forensics cyber threat analysis and mission support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. What you will do:

• Lead the deployment of software and infrastructure solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Build automated pipelines for security assessments testing and deployment of Infrastructure and Configuration as Code
• Support security audits and assessments of deployed infrastructure

Schedule:

• The team is expected to have on-site coverage 0600-1800 Monday-Friday and schedules will be coordinated with other members of the team to ensure this coverage. Core hours are 0930-1430 Monday-Friday.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or Masters and 6 years of experience or PhD and 3 years of experience. A degree in one of the following fields of study is highly desired: Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Systems Software Engineering Mathematics or Data Science. However an additional 4 years of relevant experience or specialized training may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise developing Kubernetes objects and Helm charts.
• Expertise building automated pipelines for building securing and deploying solutions with GitLab CI GitHub Actions or similar.
• Active CompTIA Security certification.

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

• Experience writing Terraform for deploying AWS GovCloud or Azure Government infrastructure.
• Experience integrating software with single sign on solutions.
• Experience with agile software delivery lifecycles with particular emphasis on requirements analysis design and testing experience.
• Experience working in a disconnected network (not connected to the internet).
