Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor application and system health assist in troubleshooting issues
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build and release workflows
- Help manage cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Apply security best practices in day-to-day workflows
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response (with guidance)
- Document processes configurations and runbooks
- Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort
- 24 years of experience in DevOps software development or related roles
- Working knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem (Spring Boot Maven/Gradle)
- Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or similar)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation)
- Scripting skills (Bash Python or Groovy)
- Understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
