DevOps Engineer

Must Have Qualifications: Must have 5 years of experience and hands on expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and CloudFormation. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Java or a similar programming language such as Python is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement observability solutions
Collaborate with development teams to optimize build processes and deployment strategies
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP) and optimize for cost and performance
Implement and enforce security best practices across the development lifecycle (DevSecOps)
Lead incident response and conduct post-mortem analyses to improve reliability
Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture and best practices
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual toil and improve efficiency

Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in DevOps SRE or related roles
Strong Java development background with understanding of the JVM ecosystem (Spring Boot Maven/Gradle)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or similar)
Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS)
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation)
Scripting skills (Bash Python or Groovy)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Splunk)
Solid understanding of networking security and system administration
