Job Summary
Drive automation accelerate delivery and support mission-critical infrastructure. NS2 Mission is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the team in Chantilly VA. In this role youll help build and maintain secure DevOps environments that enable software teams to develop test and deploy mission-critical applications efficiently. Working across on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud environments youll leverage modern DevOps tools containerization technologies and automation to improve software delivery and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain secure DevOps environments supporting mission applications.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
- Support containerized applications and modern container management practices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and deployment processes.
- Maintain development environments across on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud services.
- Collaborate with software engineers platform engineers and system administrators to improve development workflows and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and integration issues while promoting DevSecOps best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and implement automation solutions to improve reliability scalability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting DevOps environments and software delivery pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
- Experience supporting Linux-based systems and development environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and security automation.
- Experience supporting secure government or classified environments.
Position Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with an FSP
