Position Overview
The Development Manager is an integral member of the Development team who will help bring our fundraising stewardship and engagement efforts to life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order building relationships solving problems and being part of a collaborative team working toward a meaningful mission.

Experience in fundraising nonprofit organizations independent schools marketing communications project management or customer service is a plus but we are even more interested in candidates who demonstrate strong character a willingness to learn and the desire to make a meaningful impact.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising stewardship and donor engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate projects communications and administrative activities that support the Development Office.
- Maintain accurate records reports and documentation while collaborating with team members to ensure data integrity.
- Build positive relationships with donors volunteers families alumni and colleagues through excellent communication and customer service.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes stay organized and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with special events volunteer activities and other initiatives that advance the schools mission.
This position is designed to grow with the individual. As experience and confidence develop opportunities may include increased responsibility for donor cultivation prospect management volunteer leadership planned giving initiatives and other strategic advancement efforts.

- Bachelors degree preferred but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to stay abreast of best practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
