DeveloperProgrammer Analyst 3 | Austin, TX (Locals Only) | W2 | USCGC Only

We are seeking an experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 with strong expertise in Java SQL Linux and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting large-scale applications troubleshooting production environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop enhance test and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Analyze business and technical requirements and implement scalable solutions
• Design and optimize SQL queries database objects and application performance
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve application defects
• Prepare technical documentation user guides and deployment procedures
• Coordinate development efforts and support project planning activities
• Develop backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with developers business analysts and stakeholders
• Recommend system improvements and implement performance enhancements
• Support application modernization and migration initiatives

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• 15 years of hands-on Java development experience
• 10 years of SQL database development and optimization
• 8 years of experience supporting and enhancing large enterprise applications
• 5 years of Linux experience
• Strong experience in coding testing debugging and application maintenance
• Experience writing SQL queries stored procedures packages and triggers
• Knowledge of database schema design and performance optimization
• Experience troubleshooting application issues system logs memory utilization and connectivity
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience creating technical documentation flowcharts and implementation plans
• Ability to coordinate development activities and mentor team members
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
