Job Summary
Job Description:
Senior Desktop Support provides on-site IT support for providers and practice managers in
a clinical workspace operating as the face for IT.
Primary Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for laptops desktops printers and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware software VPN network connectivity and application issues.
- Install configure and maintain Windows operating systems and enterprise applications.
- Support Active Directory tasks including password resets user account management and group policy troubleshooting.
- Configure and support Microsoft Office 365 Outlook Teams and collaboration tools.
- Handle ticket management through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools while meeting SLA requirements.
- Perform system imaging software deployment and workstation setup for new hires.
- Support remote users through phone email and remote desktop tools.
- Coordinate with infrastructure networking and security teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain asset inventory and documentation of technical procedures.
- Assist with hardware refresh patching upgrades and migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments.
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
- Knowledge of VPN TCP/IP DNS DHCP and basic networking concepts.
- Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow Remedy or Jira.
- Hands-on experience with desktop imaging and remote support tools.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
