Job Description:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing engineering documentation and maintaining a CAD model database. The candidate will execute assignments under close supervision as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering design team.
Essential Functions:
- Documentation and drawing generation
- Frequent use of mechanical CAD modeling tools
- Specification model and drawing generation per ASME Y14.100
- Collaboration with multifunctional engineering teams
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Broad understanding of basic mechanical design practices
- Hands-on hardware or laboratory experience with electronic assemblies and systems
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance
- Familiarity with Windchill Creo and military design and environmental test standards
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $52000 - $97000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
